The Ease of a Dream, The Difficulty of a Vision

16 Mar

It is easy to dream, it is more difficult to have vision. There are many dreamers yet fewer achievers. What does it take to move from merely dreaming to achieving? You need vision. Dream and vision can be used simultaneously, but let’s define it for our purposes here. Vision= dream + plan. When you add a plan and strategy to your dream, it becomes a vision. In other words, a dream is potential but a vision will become your reality. If you can see it you can have it. What you think you become. What you envision sets the course of your day.

Many people are trapped in a dream like world and frustrated because “hope deferred makes the heart sick.” Relationships are important to any level of success. Some relationships are seasonal, others are eternal. You must begin to accept how life changes and learn how to go with the flow. This lesson is important to move past fear– that fear that is stopping you from birthing the dream to conception (vision).

When your heart is healed, you will begin to see. When the cloud of chaos has rolled away, vision can thrive. Many have been programmed to behave, think and live a certain way but truth awaits the one who wants to move forward. Allow your heart to embrace the change that God wants to release in your life. Many times we attempt intimacy with an individual over God and it ends in miscommunications. Brokenness begets brokenness. Can not judge or fault others for not being what only God can be!

No one can handle all of you! You are full of too much greatness, made in the image of the Divine! Only Father God can comprehend the makeup of his children. It is not human it is heavenly that we find the truest of our nature.

How does this help shape vision? Vision is not just a mission statement for your business or goal, but vision is how you see life. This vision determines how generations will follow and how secure they will stand. This vision is spiritual and ties beyond gender, social class or any classification. This vision is a realm of believing, seeing and achieving what otherwise is impossible.

Here are a few steps to move into vision:

1. Write down your dream.

Writing sets your focus and gives clarity. Habakkuk 2 2-3

2. Find interpretation to your dream.

It is necessary that a prophetic voice (one who can unveil mysteries) speaks into and over your life to aide you in seeing what you can not see. Romans 10:14

3. Educate and Prepare yourself.

It is necessary to rid yourself of old routines and begin to expand your mind for where you are going. Proverbs 23:7

4. Yield to the Process of Change.

When we resist change, it is a sign we have yet to heal. Allow God’s truth about who you are and where you are going heal you. Don’t resist His process to move you to success! James 4:6

5. BE thankful.

Thanksgiving will keep you above the negative forces that will attempt to stop your progress. I Thessalonians 5:18

Connect with those of like faith that can help birth the real you! Don’t just marry anyone just to say you belong, but wait until destiny meets. Destiny is always calling and your preparedness will determine if you hear it and can step into it. Today, aim to move into the realm of vision.
